Our PE-l assay is an immunoturbidity based assay that measures pancreatic elastase-l in patient stool to assess pancreatic function. Measuring faecal elastase-l is inexpensive and requires a very minute amount of stool sample, making it a convenient screening test for pancreatic exocrine insufficiency (PEI).
